Justice Junction

Hi all,

Just wanted to send a quick update that we're aware the user interface for Justice Junction has been a bit clunky and we will be moving to a more user-friendly interface soon. So, you will see a change in how the Junction is structured and, hopefully, an improvement in how you interact and engage with it and each other. So look forward to those changes! If there is anything else you would like to see on here please don't hesitate to let us know.

I had a originally written it last month right after RFK Jr.'s initial statements so some info is a little behind - more has happened since. It did get posted to the newspaper's facebook page and it went about how you'd expect from the facebook crowd but hopefully someone somewhere got something out of it? Naturally some people are going to think the op-ed is thing spreading misinformation but I included links that back up what I said. And non of it as a lie.

The response to our Building Inclusive Disaster Relief Guide has been fantastic! This feedback has helped affirm just how necessary it is to center disability justice, racial equity, and lived experience in emergency preparedness and climate response efforts. @jordynjensen and I are excited to share that we're working on a 2.0 update to the Guide! This will go deeper into the issues and offer:

• More actionable tips for policymakers, organizers, community groups, etc.

• Expanded sections on climate resilience and environmental justice

• New spotlights on organizations leading this work

As we develop this next version, we'd love to hear from you!
