The Collective for Racial & Disability Justice is built through shared learning, relationships, and action. Our Collectives are one of the primary ways people can participate in CRDJ’s work. Organized around racial and disability justice issues, they bring together people directly impacted by these systems, community members, advocates, researchers, practitioners, students, and partners to learn from one another, build relationships, shape resources and research, and develop shared work over time.
Many of our Collectives are connected to CRDJ’s living Toolkits. The Toolkits create a shared foundation of research, community knowledge, legal and policy analysis, resources, and tools. The Collectives help us question, expand, update, and put that knowledge into practice. Together, they create a way for people not simply to use CRDJ’s work, but to help shape what comes next.

What Happens in a Collective?
Collectives will look different depending on the issue and the people involved. They may include:

Some may meet regularly while others may organize around particular questions, projects, or moments.
